I am a theatre artist. I write plays about altar boys, insomniacs, drag queens, housewives, and Victorians. My voice works to share stories with humor, dignity, and honesty. I live in Minneapolis with my partner of over 30 years - and my husband since 2014 - James.

I am a  teacher.   I served as an Associate Professor on faculty at Montgomery County Community College for 18 years, where I also directed and created theatre with young artists and students. The day rarely goes by in which I do not smile: such are the joys of living a life with hope.
